Naylor Family Farm in Fuquay Varina is the Triangle’s newest spot for outdoor fall fun for all ages! The 10-acre Giant Corn Maze might be the star of the show—but it’s hardly the park’s only attraction. There’s also a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, kids play area, and more. Plus, this year’s theme is “Pirate’s Lost Treasure”!
Here’s what you need to know about our favorite fall spot.
There’s a Giant Corn Maze
The 10-acre Giant Maize Quest® Corn Maze is a fun and active challenge for all ages. Twisting pathways lead to question-and-answer challenges and picture rubbings—so it’s a maze and an educational game all rolled into one. It’s a great way to spend some time with family and friends in the great outdoors.
You Can Mine Gems
That’s right… you can dig your own mine-quality gems, from quartz to onyx, at just $6 a bag!
There are Tons of Animals
Head over to the petting zoo to say hello to all the animals at the farm. You can pet and feed the animals… while getting to know them all a little better, too, thanks to the friendly staff around.
It’s the Perfect Place to Pick Your Pumpkins
Don’t purchase pre-picked pumpkins at the store… find the perfect one at the Naylor Farm Pumpkin Patch! Bonus: you get a FREE pumpkin with each paid pass! Also free with each pass: a countryside ride on a tractor-pulled wagon!
There’s Lots of Food… and a Nice Picnic Area
Feeling hungry? Head to the concession stand to find a snack—like popcorn or locally made ice cream. You’re also welcome to pack your own picnic lunch (and then maybe sample some ice cream).
You Can Come Play After Dark, Too
Getting lost in a corn maze at night is… not the same as during the day! Trying to navigate your way through a maze by flashlight is certainly more of a challenge. Afterwards, roast some marshmallows or hot dogs over your own private campfire.
Oh, and There’s a Pirate Ship
Currently under construction, this 100-foot long pirate ship is the perfect place to rev up your imagination, channel your inner pirate, and take to the open seas in search of some loot.
It’s a Limited-Time Attraction Only!
The Naylor Family Farm isn’t open year-round, which means you’ve got to get your fall fun in now! They opened for the season on September 14 and will close on November 3. Hours run Friday from 1pm – 6pm, Saturday 9am – 6pm, and Sunday 1pm – 6pm. Monday through Thursday hours are by appointment only.
Flashlight Nights are every Friday and Saturday night by appointment.
